Quick tip: How to install apps on an Android phone

With the Android Market you have thousands of third party apps available to expand the capabilities of your smartphone. Here’s how you install them.

Press the gray arrow at the bottom of the main Home screen. Select the Market icon. You will see featured apps listed first, and several categories to choose from.

The best way to find an app is to perform a search by selecting the Search option. Otherwise, once you find an app you want to install, select it review the description.

Once you determine you want to install the app, select the Install option. You might see some warnings about how the app uses your phone, accept them and wait for the install to finish.
