App review: Nitrogen 1.1 for Windows Mobile
Music players for the Windows Mobile platform equipped with touchscreen have been few and far between

Music players for the Windows Mobile platform equipped with touchscreen have been few and far between. This is a premise that the latest version of Nitrogen looks to rectify and does so with a touch of style and class.
The interface boasts big player controls, album art, quick access to playlists, easy access volume control and repeat and shuffle modes. There is nothing too complicated here, it’s a music player that has all the essentials and makes it easy to choose tunes.
There is a mass of underlying options that perfectly compliment the player. At quick glance users can choose to repeat, shuffle and set up Sleep mode. Digging a little deeper and Nitrogen offers more substance. General settings sets up key actions and song options.
Beyond General users can set up file associations, with wide format support (mp3, ogg, wav, mp4, wma), activate and use the graphic equaliser and change skins.
