Quick review: be.ez LArobe Netbook Sleeve
Most mobile device cases fall into one of two camps
Most mobile device cases fall into one of two camps.
They are either very stylish and offer scant protection, or they are tough as nails but you wouldn’t want to be seen in public with them.
Finally the be.ez LArobe netbook sleeve, for 8.9” or 10” netbooks, has bridged the gap between the two.
Made of the tough foam-like Low Resilience Polyurethane (LRPu) and a good 5mm thick all the way around we imagine you could happily chuck your netbook on the floor without it incurring too much damage (not that our test went quite this far).
But coming in a variety of colours – in our case a very fetching (and bright) lime green – it also scores highly in the style stakes. LRPu is a shape-memory material, meaning that while the case will dent on impact, it will always return to its original shape.
The sole downside is perhaps the lack of space for charging cables, although this is not uncommon on netbook sleeves and does help to keep their portabiliity to the maximum.
