Samsung OmniaHD gets a new name
by Andy Betts, posted Wednesday 08 April 2009

Samsung’s OmniaHD, complete with large AMOLED display, 8MP camera and HD video recording, is all set to be one of the hottest smartphones of the year. But Samsung have now decided that it will be launched with the somewhat less memorable monicker… the i8910.
The company was quoted as saying: “To avoid confusion between the original Omnia, which is Windows Mobile, and OmniaHD, which is Symbian, Samsung is deferring to the model number”, which at least implies we’ll be seeing more Windows-powered Omnias to follow up on one of last year’s big successes. Fine, but hopefully they can also come up with a more enticing name for the i8910 in the meantime.

You are on Windows Mobile. I haven’t seen anything like Shop Savvy; this is the best I could find, but I haven’t tried it so don’t know if it works. http://www.fuzemobility.com/snap-a-photo-of-a-barcode-and-automatically-compare-prices-online/
