How to: Reject calls via SMS
It’s almost guaranteed that a call will be received at an inopportune moment
It’s almost guaranteed that a call will be received at an inopportune moment.
You could be in a meeting, talking on another line or just simply busy. Whatever the reason, simply rejecting a call will send the caller directly to answer phone. If a call needs immediate attention the typically scenario is to call back as soon as possible.
Alternatively, thanks to the Spb Phone Suite, for Windows Mobile devices, there is the option to reject a call and immediately send an SMS message. The Spb software is instantly activated when Ignore is selected and asks if you would like to send an SMS message.
There is a selection of predefined message text and the option to add custom text. Hit Send and the caller gets an immediate answer.
Step 1: Get Spb Phone Suite
Download the Spb Phone Suite software. Select the Download CAB link and click I agree (to terms and conditions). Now select Save File and OK. Sync device, transfer CAB file and install.
Step2 2: Incoming call
When an incoming call is received by a Windows Mobile device the user is given the option to Answer or Ignore. Selecting Ignore will send to caller straight to answerphone and activate the SpB Phone suite software.
Step 3: Send SMS?
Immediately after selecting Ignore the Spb Phone software offers the option to send an SMS message to the caller. If the caller has an active profile image this will be displayed. Select Yes to continue.
Step 4: Select message text
Selecting Yes in the previous step will present a list of predefined message text such as In a meeting, Please call me later and Busy. Select the most appropriate message text and tap Send to continue.
Step 5: Custom text
If none of the predefined message text options are appropriate the alternative is to send a custom text message. Scroll down the predefined message list and at the bottom is custom text, select and press Send.
Step 6: Create message
The Custom text option presents a blank SMS/MMS template. Activate the keyboard and add the desired message before hitting Send. The message is automatically added to the SMS/MMS Inbox, accessed via the Today screen.

Too much hassle. I needa system that auto-diverts unwanted calls without having to waste time pressing buttons, with an auto SMS saying F Off you low-life scumbags (or words to that effect):) I am sick to the teeth of having to deal with unwanted spam calls from call centres.
