If you are working with Word Mobile you need to ensure you don’t end up with different versions of the same documents when you sync. Here’s how…
Step 1: Plug in your mobile device and sync with Window Mobile Device Center on the desktop. Select Mobile Device Settings followed by Change content sync settings. This will reveal a list of content that can be synced.
Step 2: Scroll down the list and select Files to activate the Sync Settings link. To add a document to Synchronized files click Add, browse to the location of the desired folder, select and press Open to add. Repeat and press Done followed by Save to finish.
Step 3: The files are automatically added to a new folder, ie, Documents and device name, on the desktop. The files will also reside in a folder on the device, ie, My Documents. Any changes will be updated when the device is synced.
