With its widget-based Home screen, Android offers arguably the most customisable UI of any smartphone platform. Here’s how to ensure your favourite apps are literally at your fingertips.

Swipe your finger to the home screen panel you want, left or right. Press the gray arrow button and find the app you want to place on the Home screen.

Press on the icon and hold down. Move the icon over to the Home screen and find the position where you want to drop the icon.

Release the icon. You can press and hold down on it again to move it to a new position, or even drag it over to a side panel of the Home screen.
