The HTC Maple looks set to be the long-awaited follow up to the popular Excalibur (S710) from 2007. While not quite matching the style of our current favourite thumboarded smartphone, Nokia’s E71, the keyboard and trackball do look prety functional. The Maple is also reported to come with a new software feature, dubbed “Inner Circle”, which will collate together all your communications with your favourite contacts based on the time of day and day of week.
