HTC posts Touch HD ROM update

HTC has posted an updated ROM for the Touch HD. It includes the following fixes and features:

1.       Updated the Connection Setup Database.
2.       Improved emergency call connections while using Airplane Mode.
3.       The GPS position updating speed has been enhanced.
4.       A Title bar display flicker in TouchFLO 3D has been corrected.
5.       Fixed multiple browsing issues.

The release is for SIM-free models (updates for SIM-locked phones are released separately by network operators). Be sure to follow the instructions when installing, including backing up all your data before you begin and ensuring the phone is at least 50% charged.
